BF => if you don't find a BF quest item or a monster in there => you will only see decoration.

Non appearing items => these are either set or unique items from the current act. As soon as you change the act, you can sell them.

No, sorry, I don't. You see. the BF quests are random - but if you find large dragon statues you can't move in the BF => decoration.
If a trader wants you to get a small dragon statue, you will find it in one of the BF dungeons - always in the tiny last level.

There is a dragon gem quest in the game itself => but in Act 4, has nothing to do with the BF.

All items in BF are random generated,
so unless this dragon statue is a quest item (for one of the BF merchants) it's of no use whatsoever.

I've a similar problem in Act II Battlefields, 3rd dungeon.

I know I have all the quests from the traders and have now cleared out the 3rd dungeon. At the bottom level it is completely empty. I've tried going out and coming back.

Trouble is, until I get all the other battlefield keys, I won't know which quest this is supposed to be!

Any suggestions?

Act 2 => you have a maximum of 5 BF quests there (one per trader). As the dungeons are totally random - it could be "normal" in your case to not find any solution in the dungeon you mentioned. So, I'd proceed in your case and hope, you will find the solution in BF 4-6.

I once had 3 boss enemies in 1 dungeon, the next 2 were empty. The only thing I'd do is this => search the small dungeons carefully with ALT, so you don't miss a quest item. They are not always combined with a boss enemy, but lie innocently on the ground.
