Could've sworn SP2 was out. Must be one of those ideas that gets lodged in your head and becomes accepted as fact. Anyway.
2. The shutdowns occur only (though not every time) I load a new area, such as when I enter or depart a battlefield. That's the only common factor I've noticed. Oh, one time it happened when I double-clicked the desktop shortcut to start the game.
3. I run Ad-Aware at least once a week and haven't encountered anything worse than tracking cookies. I used to have Spybot before reformatting my hard drive but haven't bothered getting it again, but since you mentioned it I will.
