<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" /> It's almost 1 year since I last logged onto this forum. That's, of course, because of the lask of precious time. Now that I finally bought AN ORIGINAL cd (Polish localization) I can post a few fresh (for me) tips and comments.
Tip:
Remember the bug in DD that allowed to teleport anywhere? it's still here. A diagonal axis through the buildings is still open; if you are really stuck- like I was, due to some Polish localization problems(i.e. quests not triggering), use it - it came helpful when I was stuck in the Act2, when in the cellar with blocked exit.
Tip:
You can actually pass all the BD without camouflage. I noticed, that though in Samuels Citadel you miss 2-3 funny sub-quests, you are able to make a lot of EXp just on the deathknights(without creeping really), and on the shopkeepers (well, they DO carry all that stuff, so when I kill them, A LOT of junk gets in my greedy hands). Finished act 1 wih level 10-14 (10 with mage oriented, 14 with warrior).
Tip:
For us poor Polish gamers, it is really hard to do anything about the quests with Tree of Realisation. That's because Polish version doesn't like to be updated correctly with the help of the latest patch( Dk why...), and though the quests triggers, only gold will be availible(checked lights in Act3, nothing happens. Checked Portal Rixx, nothing happens. Checked village imp, no bed is availible.). So DON't BOTHER, use the gold option.
Tip:
If stuck with the summoning 1st quest in Academy, there's a tip(again, for Polish version). It won't trigger if you have a corrupt save. This you will notice by checking your primary stats; if they're doubled(or just way too high for the given level- e.g. level 19 with 1000 hp), whooops, you got the bug, find earlier save, or try to reload this particular save after clearing the COMMON folder. Then the quest will trigger; remember , that I was frustrated- I spent 4 f!@!$@$%$g hours in the academy, trying to solve that....
Tip:
The status "Robbed already", which appears when you pickpocket someone with 3 or 4 items, can be avoided in BF...Find out how, it's EASY....:)
