Talking scsi. It doesnt seem to run at all on scsi cdrom (atleast not mine). Have to use the atapi dvdrom.
I think this is either a configuration issue, or Starforce rejects SCSI drives if it finds an IDE drive. When I had 2 SCSI drives, the game would work fine with either the DVD or CD-RW drive. The intermittent problems I had with the CD-RW (which was terminated) became a tad less intermittent, so I replaced it with an IDE burner (and then terminated DVD drive). Now the game will only recognize the CD in the IDE drive (which is significantly louder spinning up, and despite being faster on paper, takes noticeably longer to verify the CD, briefly locking up the computer in the process). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />
