I have the water bottle from the kitchen but the pisoner wont take it...he just keeps asking for it and i only have the opion of looking for it or telling him to find it himself. How can i get him to take the water from me.

you should be able to do it through diaglogue if 1) you have the right bottle of water (only one will do) and b: you haven't drunk it.

Try dropping it from your inventory and re-pick it up

As said before, you need a specific water bottle to make it work.
You need the green bottle standing up with a purple label.
If you already drunk it, well...
You won't be able to complete this quest.
