it appears that RAM size (or lack of it) may be your problem as i know 256MB is a bare minimum for Win XP. u may need another 256MB just to make your system stable enough for any application to run without hitches. i know of some CAD programs that will give u nonsensical errors just because u don't have enough RAM though they may not crash on u.

so far i've yet 2 resolve my own <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> crash problem. i'm using Win Me with 384MB of RAM. i may have to increase RAM size & update the OS.

if u can borrow a piece of RAM from a friend to try the theory of 'Not Enough RAM Will Cause You Lifetime Trauma', u may be able to find out if RAM is your problem or it's just me & my fleeting sanity. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

edit: since winXP ID'ed your card as geforce 2 mx100/200, then it's ID'ed correctly. u don't have to worry about that part anymore. wish i can help u more.
