Beware of the Shaman's resistances:
highly immune (78 at hardcore) to fire, air, water, earth; and completely resistant (100 at hardcore) to poison, shadow and bone. So do not use weapons that do this kind of damage, because their effect will be slim to none. So instead of using the fire sword, use a normal sword with slashing damage and have your skellie fire ethereal arrows if available
