It's a very good discription. But can you tell me if the "summoned doll, a skeleton" can learn making potions?. I have tryed but can not give it my own skill points. How do I give it skill points? It has already the skill but I can not give it more skill points raise the level. Greetings cgstrom/Sweden

The doll is in single or leading mode the doll has the plants in its inventory the doll can create or combine potions, depending on the skill you gave it. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.kiya1.de/beyond/actgeneral/Dollskill0.jpg)

great job kiy! however (sorry about this ), i believe you may be correct only in your assessments of permanent potion attribute raises in difficulty settings other than hardcore. i played hardcore and can state absolutley that the attribute gain for MADE potions (holy water/alchemy plant) is 10 points, not 8, in version 1.45 here is MADE survival potion, before and after MADE strength before and after MADE agility before and after MADE constitution before and after all 10 point gains. the reason i designate 'MADE' in the above is because 'FOUND' in-game potions provided a much different degree of attribute gain. here is FOUND survival before and after - just one (1) point! FOUND constitution also raised but a single point. FOUND intelligence before 1st after first yet before second, and after 2nd . notice by drinking the second intelligence potion (same character) there is NO GAIN! however, handing the second to DK ( before and after ) provides the same 7 point gain as the initial character. because i played on hardcore, i do not have the ability to go back and check the MADE permanent potions in differing difficulty settings. perhaps someone can do this? i serioulsy believe that the attribute gain is dependant upon your difficulty setting. but without a doubt, the level of attribute gain in hardcore is 10 points for any made potions.

Thanks, Lego - I did not check if perm. potions in hardcore are different to the other settings Mine was done in tactical - hm, will have to check if "easy" and "action" are different as well. I can check hardcore if you wish - what about HP/mana/stamina in perm on hardcore? Could you add your values as well, please, before time edit limit butts in? Kiya
If I have your permission, I will add the differing values into the list I made - so, everything is in one list. Need to check "easy" and "action" for creating, combining and perm.

i hope you can do this! i'm very curious ever since others were so sure they were getting a different attribute value than i was experiencing. there must just be differing values for differing difficulties. thanks for doing the work kiy. i'd help if i could, but as you know, once on hardcore there is no reverting of these settings.

Sorry, if it sounds obvious => but the correct values can only be seen if your char is nude, so restrictions or boni are not applied to the pure potion skill. This was the case, why I had survival as 7 first - and Barnie found out why I missed one point to 8.
Do you strip your chars for this, Lego? Nope, hm? If you can => create a perm and then give this one to a char without any equipment, such as armour, weapons etc.
I'm sure, Zandorra won't mind - it's all for medical/scientific research Honi soit qui mal y pense

okay, did a bit more checking (including potions i didn't have and wouldn't have used). again, hardcore difficulty, all permanent potions. HEALTH potion - 105 hit points MANA - 105 mana points STAMINA - 200 increase CONSTITUTION - 100 hit points/300 stamina (making this MUCH better than a STAMINA potion and arguably better than a HEALTH potion - granting 5 less hit points but 300 more stamina). INTELLIGENCE - 150 mana points (making it MUCH better than a straight MANA potion). all potions were consistant, giving the described increases (health, mana, stamina) or a flat +10 to an attribute (str, agil, etc.) regardless of whether made by ZAN or DK, except one - and this is quite interesting (at the least, it's quite curious) - and that's the speed potion. here is zan before and after . notice it's but a nine (9) point gain. while DK before and after gains eleven (11) points. hmmm. this happened irrespective of who actually made the permanent potion - zan gaining 9 points on potions she or DK made, and DK gaining 11 on potions made by both he and zan. very curious. and the only potion that was not consistant.

the more i think about it, the less i believe that could be an issue in anything but the speed potion discrepancy. everything is far too consistant in other regards for there to be a value altering factor taking place. and i've done some of these tests over a level change of nearly 15 - all the while results remain consistant. now if we were talking things like accuracy, evasion, etc. i'd be far more likely to agree. but i will check.

As your DK and Zan have different results => I guess, there's something either restricting and/or boosting. Scientific research requires sacrifices, Lego - this goes for hats as well I'm at work, so my results will have to wait. Kiya

okay kiy - did almost all over again (but without pics - too much work! ). results remain exaclty the same but for the speed potion anomoly. 10 points gained to ALL attributes now, including speed, on both characters, irrespective of clothing. the 105 hit point and mana increases remain the same as does the stamina boost. so the only difference is the speed potion result. Honi soit qui mal y pense i love when you talk to me like that! (though i have no idea what you've said! - i have a hard enough time with english! )

Ok, redid the perm on all difficulty settings => please, see the result: there are 3 results => easy - action/tactical - hardcore. Same for an intelligence potion I found in Act 2 => intelligence => +5 on easy - +6 on action/tactical - +7 on hardcore. It's probably the one I got in Mushroom Forest, the one maybe not being really permanent. If anyone wishes <gulp> - I can test creating/combining on 3 settings as well. I presume, action/tactical are equal and if there is a difference, only on easy and hardcore, but as most will use rest./mana/hp => I think a large difference is not really important => need your feedback, gamers [color:"yellow"]@Lego[/color] => if you wish to know a bit about the chivalric history of "honi soit qui mal y pense" => http://jacq.org/honi_soit.htmeven, if it is just a story, it became the motto of an Order - a cute story IMO and might please Zandorra to forget her humiliating hatless seconds Kiya

kiy, are you saying that you only got a 7 point attribute gain, even in hardcore, with made potions????

Nope, Lego - please, look at the original list I made => I modified - so all values are in one list. It's 7 on easy, 8 on tactical/action and 10 on hardcore.
The other value was from a potion I found, not created. And I wrote "found" in bold <sigh>

kiy, i think you should also make a note that on hardcore (as i pointed out about 8 posts ago) it's to your advantage to use intelligence (150 mana points) over the straight mana potion (105 points). also, constitution over stamina and very likely over health as well. you'd have to check the values on the other difficulties.
did you also test the 'found' constitution and survival potions? did you get more than 1 point to attribute?
thanks for the hard work.

Found potions
Tested "survival" in Act 3 (reward from the crystal) on easy, tactical, hardcore => always + 1
Act 4 - the cupboards with 4 perm potions => HP/mana on tactical/hardcore => 60 each Constitution on tactical/hardcore => +1 Stamina on tactical/hardcore => +25
Interesting variation => if you choose the wrong button color to open, 1st time => you destroy the perm potion in it! Wrong option, 2nd time => lock is destroyed, so you miss the weapon as well
new values for the perm potion comparison (con, int etc.) is in my list
