i choose my side and i go out and try to fight bees or wasps but they kill me in one shot, is there something im missing or am i just not strong enough...im lvl 30 already

How's your poison resistance? Have you got purple potions to help? I killed them easily with meteor strike. No, your lvl's fine.

Check your resistances.
Bees and wasps use poison.
If you have too low poison resistance they'll kill you easily.

Maybe you have resistance bug (it activates when you equip item that gives you +1 Magic Barrier).

If you have it, download the latest patch here and it'll fix your problem. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

thanks i did have the bug my resistances were all like -567838 or something

The swirl move is *great* for this particular battle...it lets you clear mass waves of the enemy without worrying about friendly fire.

I used the swirl attack the first time I went through, but killed a couple bees. The queen was ticked off, and did not teach me a level of Aura of Command.

I used meteor strike and pressed CTRL all the time, so only enemies were hit - area spells are not so good, this goes for swirl attack, too, hm?

But later in the game I had to kill a friendly(green) wasp to get the last key for the lvl up jug.

i used steel scorps.
disadvantage: the queen bee came coplaining that i almost didn;t kill anything, even though my scorpions did kill everyting <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

She did that too to me. I think it is because you didn't kill the mutated wasp. I reloaded killed it and Lysandra was happy

I suspect the special mutated wasp is the key. My character just ran through this place avoiding about everything, but did pause to kill the mutated wasp, and got credit from the Queen.
