Welcome back!
That's right. Poison can't actually kill you in Beyond Divinity. You always throw it up just before you die.

Hm, Bernhard killed his DK in a very early version with poison and carried on alone. I was not able to reproduce it <sniff> Tried to kill Barnie and Raze with poison barrels I faithfully dragged from Act to Act (the nice big ones) => <doublesniff> even 2 barrels per person were not enough to fulfill this strictly scientific experiment for fun-sakes. My DeathKnight has a Constitution of 3 and is frequently poisoned by spiders. His health always drops to zero, after which he throws up. If he's hit, any physical damage will kill him. But if he's alive, just one easy potion to heal him. I don't even have to worry about an antidote!

Doesn't that already happen when you've drunk too much? And everything becomes funny too! And you can like, walk into doors even when they're already open, and it doesn't even hurt. And then you go to bed and you snore, really really loud. Sometimes.

Wanna get rid of your DK? Do like i did ( although i have No Idea of just what it was that i did) but upon leaving Act 1 and entering Act 2 the Both of us were there and then i started walking to the West and had hit the F4 key to make sure the DK was following and after a screen or so and first Tibar kill i noticed the DK was not there with me. Retraced my steps back to the entrance and still no DK. Hmmm-puzzled,I then clicked on the DK's Portrait. He is out in the Black area of the Screen all by Himself. He can run all over the place and come to areas of buildings, etc, etc, but apparently He is Stuck in the Black area Outside of all the Game play Scenarios. Very interesting but hardly of any benefit since he cannot do anything except wander around forever in this Black area. I had to Restart from a previous Save Game slot and this time I made Sure the DK was right behind Me before Continuing to the Inp Village. I still have the have SavedGame with that "DK in Black Area" if anyone wants to muck around with it. Can't think of anything to do with it myself.

If one character is stuck outside the play area, you can have the other enter a cave / building or take some stairs to teleport the other character into the play area. Alternately, you can have the character in the play area enter and exit the BF.
