i feel i have to (try to) explain why i suggest that...
because it was for entertaining interacting with and between the NPCs...
i think in DD some quests (i mean Marcus ones and some others) could have be solved by someone else (i.e a NPC)... (personnally I don't know any sellers that will wait 25 days for having their goods back)... well for BD it is a bit different because in a way there is nobody else that could solve the quests (from the story main line...)
it seems to me question that comes with a "realistic" aspect more than an "atmospheric" one...
and i can't see what it aggravates (even linearity) except maybe for bugs (not so sure)... and even so, potentially all new suggest can aggravate bugs...
hope it is more understandable...
