After I entered Act 2 and was tooling around the Imp Village I happened to open
My Inventory and discovered some strange things:
1.I now have 2 Bedrolls
2.I now have 2 Crystal Bags
3.I now have 16 Summoning Dolls
4.I have the Following keys left over from Act 1: 1 plain looking Key, 2 Silver
Keys, 1 Sapphire Key(I used that one in Act 1) and 1 key that is Round on one end and Star shaped on the other end.

I have no idea if this is supposed to be this way ( hard to believe it would be)
or if something went awry when I patched to Version 1.45 somewhere near last half of Act 1.
I tried "Separating" them but cannot do so--would like to get rid of all the Extra useless Weight.

yes... had you re-saved your last save just after patching?
i think it must be done
i had a very similar prob
and had never really solved it (except begin a new game)...

If you drag a stack into (or out of) a container or your inventory (or between 2 inventory windows), and hold down the control key before dropping, it will bring up a split stack pane, which will let you specify how many to transfer.

Do you have any recent saves you can check to see where the problem occurred? As long as you didn't loose anything there is not really any reason to reload, but if you don't have much to redo it would probably be safer to do so. I'd guess the problem was during the act transition, when the game removes any BF keys that you have picked up, etc from your inventory.

I'm having a similar problem when going from act2 to act3.

When I go from act2 to act3 is suddenly have a teleporter stone in mine inventory. I didn't find any teleporter stones before, and I'm sure I don't have a teleporter stone right before I talk to the imp that shows you the way to the raanaar temple, and where you then go to act3. Maybe when I go to act4 I have 2 teleporter stones.

This doesn't bother me or so, since it doesn't make have any difference to me wether I have one teleporter stone or none, I just found it weird.

The teleporter stones can be found in act 2 in the little mushroom forest north west of the village. Open the chest straight into the forest, that is partly surrounded by rocks.

On act change the game may be checking if you left a teleporter stone on the ground somewhere, and places it in your inventory if so (one teleporter stone is given to you, the other is on the ground for you to teleport to. Check if you have both teleporter stones (one could be hidden under something or be in the lower part of the inventory); the game could also just check your inventory, and give you the teleporter stones if you do not have them with you.
