There are 3 people in the quarantine area which need one of the potions from Elrath's cellar to be cured, but the only thing you miss not doing so is a bit of experience.

You can get back into the cellar
FIX for the Missing Catacombs Portal or Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor

or download the inventory files to get the cure potions

Alternately, if you stand at the north west corner of the house, you may be able to toss a teleporter stone into the front room.
