Ok you have the option to change keys, I made quick save G and i can use QS in the game, however it randomly stops working. I hit G saves fine then anywhere from 5 mins to 2 hours into game play it stops working.

i hope raze reads this before you get back to it, 'cause i don't have an answer...but raze - could this be a situation where he's losing his quicksaves because they're being saved with the '.tmp' extension???

marek, hopefully raze will help you soon.

I recall someone mentioned having a similar problem with quick saves (default hotkey IIRC) on a laptop but it worked on a desktop (or vise versa).

Can you still quick load the most recent quick save? If you do a standard save and delete all the quick saves, do they start working again? If you alt tab out of the game (or exit) and in Windows Explorer browse to the '..\Beyond Divinity\savegames' folder, do you have any quick save folders with a .tmp extension?

I can still quickload my most recent QS, yeah if i delete all QS's than I can start QSing again. It seems to have a limit of no more then 4 QS's. And none have .tmp extension

The game should keep 5 quick saves and automatically overwrite the oldest one. Apparently on your system it either has a problem keeping track of the quick saves or determining which is the oldest. Since there are no .tmp folder extensions, the problem is not during the save process itself.

ok...lol

oh well it's not that big a deal to go to save instead of using a QS.
