hehe, Morrowind is not exactly an overrated game, it's absolutely fabulous the first 20 hours or so. But the more you play it the game's shortcomings will become too obvious. It's a brilliant open-ended game but so terribly open there's no focus in it at all. The main point in Morrowind appears to be to walk around aimlessly, explore the world and complete quests. Once you've completed your first quest, you've completed all, because they're basically all similar in structure. The game would have benefited from a campaign (story) that gave the game a little focus. The "campaign" in Morrowind is extremely watered-downed and very similar to many other regular quests. Also, one will eventually begin to complain about the world, where's the life? Non-player characters are no more living than the scenery. Still, a great game, but more experienced RPG players will eventually tire of the one-sided gameplay.
Divine Divinity is clearly the better game, not by extremely much, if Morrowind is 9.0 Divine Divinity is 9.3.
