Well as they say better late than never.

I am 46 and have been playin RPG games since pen and paper days and would like to give this game 10 thumbs up.

I am on my way to the store in the next couple of days to get the newest game Beyond Divinity and have high expectations for the game.

Great job to all the people for makin the game.

And great job of the forums usage.

I have found alot of good information for gettin the most out of the game.

So to all the games out there keep up the good work and se ya all in the Divinity World.

let's not forget ... who's the sarcastic transvestite? anyone who's sarcastic but not really a transvestite? or maybe a transvestite who's not sure if he/she is sarcastic? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Barta, I suggest this => you and I come together and think up nice Sushi recipes - taking all those young fish here as a filling, hm? Let's see how they like our wrapping humour? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
Kiya <sharpening her knife, flipflop>

@To all => it's not always easy to read all posts dealing with opinions about Div and BD, specially if they are emotional. Some like both games, others one of both - but BD seems to be on the shorter end due to comparison with Div. The Larians tried a new way in BD and those liking Div very much are a bit disappointed sometimes. Since BD was published all bugs of Div are forgotten - and believe me, I can come up with a lot of harsh critics dealing with Div from the old forum.

So, I can understand Barta completely, as she reads a lot of posts and answers in the French part very competently.

Everyone is totally free to like/dislike either game, but I sometimes wish, the tone would be more moderate and keep to facts or state subjective opinion clearly.

On my behalf => I like both and I hope, Div 2 will have elements out of both games.

How old are you guys (and Barta: I don't know the feminine word for women (or transvestite...)) really? Because I allways thought that the pepole who plays DD (or computergames in common) wasn't so mutch older than, oh let's just for the sake of it say (give a false age, give a false age!)... eum 17 (DOH! Stupid lousy brain <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />). DS

This "guyess" here is 47, nearly 48 - not months, but years.

I don't care about biological age, Uebereil, I care about a certain forum culture: When I entered the Lar Forum in 2002 I decided to stay here because the atmosphere was nice => people teased each other, people disagreed about certain topics but mostly in respect and caring for one another. Personal insults were very rare, same went for trolls and flamers. (No, I'm not meaning you now, ok?)

Tone has become rougher now in certain parts - and sometimes I ask myself: would I have made the same decision if I had entered this forum 1-2 months ago ... ?? Dunno. Sometimes I detect a tone I see in other forums - the ones I don't enter but simply read. Why? Well, not quite my way I like to converse or spend my free time with.

There are quite a lot of gamers in all forums here, who are older - above 30 up to 60 and more. Yeah, and some of them are even females - AND some of them are even kicka** gamers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> Barta played BD in hardcore - Ariana played Div with the lowest survivor lvl.

Maybe you'd re-consider your opinion that gamers are 17 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> (or only 17-yr-old male gamers?) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> - I was delighted to see how many adults play RPG. As long as we can move the mouse, we have the power <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

ubereil... i know you were'nt really serious about the average age of DD players but as a 30+ player just let me say than i think that pretending thinking average players age is 17 is not a compliment for DD...

and it will be a good point for you if you could stop with this "transvestite" story ok?

well we have all the right to bad jokes (and as i said in another thread i know what it is to make a bad joke) but less it is during best it is... sorry it is same thread another post previous page and not another thread...

ok nothing personnal there just MG' second moral lecture of the day but anyway...

This just proves... eum... Well anywhay, I think I have to say that today I have lernt something new. I have learnt that pepole over 25 plays computergames too. I blame my former ignorance on lack of experience. I didn't mean to offend anyone though. And it's pretty cool that pepole tht's (allmost) as old as my parents play computergames. My parents su... is really bad at computers (maybe not compared to me but still...) so finding out that I have something in common with older pepole is (as I said) cind of cool. But on the other hand, as Kiya said: this isn't the kind of place where age matters. But on the other hand: Isn't 48 a little young for a Drove Kiya <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />?

Ubereil

PS I MENTIONED THE TRANSVESTITE TWICE <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />. And I wasn't going to mentioned it anymore anywhay (I think. And don't take this rage too serious BTW.) DS

You must be really talented since you are concidered to be (extremely) young at like 200. But on the other hand, if you know hw to handle those bottles of poison...
