OK. I gave you some incorrect info. Here is the right stuff.
1. View > toolbars > place a check next to Bookmarks Toolbar.
Right click on the now visible toolbar in a vacant spot. Click manage folder. You'll get a window which is intuitive to use to modify the toolbar, add or remove bookmarks and groups as you see fit.
2.
Firefox extensions Try one extension at a time. Don't put in 2 different extensions which overlap.
