how to eat and drink? I've tried to use an apple on my body, no----tried to
put it in the inventory, haven't seen results so no----what am I not doing?

How do I use found skill books? Tried putting them in nventory,no. tried putting them on the skills, no.

Eating, drinking and learning spells from spell books are all done the same way, by left clicking on the item in your inventory.
