Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Stuck again in Act 2, who the heck is Asmodheus

I know i posted a bunch last week about game now I am stuck again. Thanks to all who helped me the last time. This is where i am stuck now. I beet the shaman and i talk to the imp in th shaman basement, but i head out and browse around a bit before i go back and follow the imp. He leads me to the mushrrom forrest and says thats someone is coming and walks away. Mean while a human approaches and says that some dude named Asmodheus wants to see me, if I hit yes i'll go the game crashes. If i hit no i don't want to see Asmodheus, the guy goes away and i try to go and talk to the imp. The Imp says that there is fake lava right over there but doesn't do anything but walk around. So i try to look for this fake lava and get approached again for a human wanting me to see Asmodheus and same thing, if I hit yes the game crashes and if I hit no he goes away. All in all i get approaches for 4 humans asking me to go see asmodheus, but with the forth guy it's Asmodheus talking himself and I don't get the option for yes or no. Anyway I don't know what to do. asmodeus (or whatever his name is) is a demon, who wants to speak to you..... the only option you have is to go with them to speak to asmodeus.

THe SAME human will carry on bugging you until you finally go with...

AS for the crashing..... hmmm shouldnt happen...

THe only hints i can offer is:

Make sure you have the latest patch installed (but i recall that you do)

Try deleting the files in the dynamic folders;
'..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act1\Dynamic', '..\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act2\Dynamic', etc.
These folders are used as a cache for the game. Files are created / copied there from the save game folder when you load, and written / copied to those folders when you save a game. The files will be re-created as required the next time you start Beyond Divinity. If there was a corrupt file in those folders, deleting the files should fix the problem. (Raze being quoted)

Try equipping the DK with a sword before talking to Tax, if he is using something else. This bug has been fixed for the next patch;

noooo Game crashing between act 2 & 3

STILL STUCK IN ACT 2, I WILL TRY CHANGING WEAPONS AND SEE IF THAT HELPS, BUT ARE U SUPPOSED TO LOOT THE DEAD IMPS BEFORE GOING? I TRIED WITH LOOTING AND WITH OUT. IS THERE SUPPOSED TO BE SOMETHING I HAVE TO FIND BEFORE I CAN GO ON. WHAT AN I DO? THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING.

You can loot the village before proceeding, but you do not need to.

A corrupt item in the inventory can also cause a crash on act transition. Unique and set items are renamed at that time, and some items are removed from the inventory (like the BF keys of the previous act). Drop any unused keys and quest items, since none will be required in the next act. Any obvious corrupt items should be dropped on the ground. The bone ring/spear occasionally found in the BF should not cause a crash, but that is the type of situation to look for.

In Phil's case, his hero had a small bone crystal, which was locked(?), in the armour section of the inventory. Dropping this on the ground, the name changed to a hunter's knife, though the graphic remained the same. Without this item, the act transition proceeds normally.
