currently still missing forum members;

mandrake (trying very hard to veer away from the net)
carrie (canadian beauty lost in translation)
seth (everyone drools at his brightblade)
goldylocks (rumoured to be lurking in the dark parts of the forum)
faile (is seattle that nice?)

edit: deathatthedoor is also considered missing (though technically he's just at the door) & there are report of his posts that coincides with sightings of elvis.

apologies to barta for making her do the work of reporting. a president's job should be sitting comfortably & giving out orders to members to do all the dirty work. i shall work on it right away! *salutes to the president*

next news item: Desdemona, one of the prophets, will be going away to Spain & getting married, thus will no longer be able to maintain her fanpage full of tips & tricks. fortunately for gamers, Myrthos of RPGDot has given his word to keep the fanpage alive via RPGDot.

Protesting their Voice

Protests over the Death Knight's voice acting have reduced in recent months. Only a few accounts have been seen recently.

The protests originally started when the demo for Beyond Divinity was released in March 2004. People were up in arms about most of the voice acting within the game. Before the game's final release, the voice acting was rerecorded. Unfortunately, this did little to please the customers.

The voice has been labelled "over done" and "exagerated" by various players.

People have still played on, despite their dislike of the Death Knight's voice. Some have even come to appreciate his demonic charm.

Protests have since diminished with players coming to accept that this is the way it is and it will not change.

Larian Studios could not be reached for comment due to lack of interest.

Wrote in the Tips section a thread which should become a compilation of so-called "helpful treads". Any contribution is welcome, but should rather be PM'd first, so I can check it. Thanks.

Alrik.

Don't worry.

By the way, what are people from the Netherlands saying about the term "double dutch" ?

Here in Germany we have a similar term : "it looks (like) spanish". Means it's not understandable.

In Sweden I think we have an expression that says something like "That's pure Greecish" or something. We allso talk about Fig language.

I'm not from the Netherlands (phew! ) but do speak Dutch as well.
Dutch and German are quite similar, therefore I can read it and mostly understand it. Speaking? Hm... when you would like to have a good laugh

Exactly my opinion !

I can fairly good say "Guten Tag" in Dutch, but that's all.
