Oh dear, another voice silent ...

May you rest in peace, finally ...

I can`t belive it....
Kyra was a really warm-hearted, lovely forum-member...I miss her already so much....
A few weeks ago she wrote me a PM just to tell me that she likes my posts, so I wrote her back, we talked a bit about our languages, she told me sadly she couldn`t understand German...
By writing with her I got to know Kyra a bit better and it only confirmed my opinion of her, that she was a wonderful person.
I`ve got her in my memory and in my heart, like all the others from this forum....

Rest in Peace, Kyra_Ny

My sincerest condolences Fafnir.

This is shokking news to all of us.
And I understand that the forum will be one of last things on your mind right now.
But remember you'll always have freinds here to talk to.

Would somebody(anybody who has Fafnir's email address) be so kind as to relay our condolences. We all loved her, she was a wonderful person.

Fafnir sent me several PM but we never exchanged our mail addresses.
Lynn could send him a mail because when somebody register in the forum he/she has to give a mail address.
You can ask Lynn to send him a condoleance message from Larian and the forum members.
But i don't know if it is a good idea.
He waited a few days before to send a PM to Janggut maybe it is still too early for him.
Do as you feel LadyRain.

I will ask Lynn to send him a email on our behalf. I do not think that he will check his mail when he is not ready yet. He knows that people will be sending their condolences via email too. But i think that it would be no less than right to send him our condolences, for when he reads it, he will be glad to know that she was loved here too and that we think of his sorrow and have the most hearfelt sypathy.

The final descision will still rest with Lynn

I can't believe it's true. But it's starting to sink in. The first person who helped me, exchanged PM's with me and told me about her life in America and her favo's. I'll always remember her by her ava. The pretty young girl with the white dress who was dancing. And we all wished her a happy newyear. [color:"blue"]I cannot believe it!! [/color]

Seth was right when he told me Fafnir will need time alone. let's not expect him to comply to whatever we want right now. let him come over in his own time.

& thank u so much, everyone, for giving your support to Fafnir in his time of need. let's give him space to deal with this.

Nicely put, janggut.

I'm all for the idea of support.
But it has to be done in a decent manner. You/we can't force it upon him.
Last thing he needs is a mailbox overflowing with mails and a "my home" on the forum overcrowded with pm's.
Why you think he's not accepting pm's?
He has other things on his mind now.

We miss Kyra. But please keep in mind that he misses her too. And a lot more than we do. And that he has to deal with lots of things right now that he doesn't want to deal with. Respect his feelings and lets not force our feelings upon him, but rather be there for him.

For those of you who recieved a pm from Lady Rain.
Please react.
It's the most decent thing we can do.

*edit*
I only read Fafnir post after typing this.
So please respect his wishes.

When it comes to a topic like this one. I sometimes wish we ware all Asians. Western people can learn a lot from the wisdom there.
Thank you.

I`m writing this cause i believe in these words, i think we have to spend more time with the person what we love, cause this person can "fade" from your life in one second.

Come inside from this door now
and say that you love me
you have an half hour to change my life
come let`s go away
cause of what you take long
is what the time will take

Still have your perfume in the house
Still have you in the living room
because my heart beat more when have your smell
inside of a book
inside of the fast night

Still have your perfume in the house
Still have you in the living room
because my heart beat more when have your smell
inside of a book
in the ashes of the hours

This is a part of a beatiful music what we have here, i believe this describe a litle her happyness living with Fafnir, i know if we stay remembering her all the time Fafnir will suffer more, even more now cause is recent, so these are my last words about this. I still didn`t saw his post so i don`t know if this procede with what he asked, if don`t forgive me.

About the lyric - i don`t know if it`s correctly translated but i think it gives the idea of what i wanted to say. Enjoy every moment of your life with the person what you love and with your family and friends. Try to do more cause when they`re gone you`ll regreat and think about what you could have done.

I am very new here, but Setharmon is whole heartedly correct.
I know loss and there is a lot one has to deal with.
If one is lucky other family members will help take care of matters, but that usually isn’t the case.
Sadly, the spouse is the one who has to handle everything.
From closing and transferring things, to having to fill out piles of paper work from uncaring people who don’t care about that person’s loss at all except that they get their jobs done.
And finally when all of that is finally taken care of weeks, even months later, they come home to a house that now feels less than it used to.

I recieved the PM too but i don't agree with one thing "Latest Sunday".
Why ? At least two important members are not here Kiya and Lucretia.
I sent a PM to Luc but it is useless if she do not visit the forum.
I am always against things made in hurry (is it good ?).

Yes, but we don't know how long Kiya's vacation will go. With Lucretia, I think she'll be here in a few days or weeks.

My thoughts, for what they're worth:

I expect we are all thinking of Fafnir now, and of the pain he is suffering.... Certainly "being here" for him is important, and he knows that we are; he's posted to tell us this, and to tell us he needs his time alone to grieve.

Somewhere down the road, our memories of Kyra may be a pleasing remembrance for Fafnir, but right now...? I have no desire to burden him with my sadness, while he is trying to cope with the reality of his loss and is struggling with an infinitely greater sadness of his own.

But this is only my personal reaction, and I do not possess any wisdom and cannot pretend to know what is best. We are all different in our sensibilities and in the end must each be guided by our own hearts.

barta, bless your heart.

i have e-mailed Luc but so far she has yet to reply. my guess is that she's still busy with work & no time even to check e-mail. let's hope she'll be in this friday.

& as for Lady Rain setting the timeframe, i cannot say much as she will be the one who will do the compiling & setting up the content & that is a lot of work.

please don't push yourself too hard, Lady Rain.

I muust say that I agree with Rincewid here ......
Absolutely, after all, the words in these threads should say it all...
and they will be here forever.....
