Faile turned up a day prior to her birthday just to see many happy birthday wishes. The pirate elf is still in Minneapolis but will be moving to Seattle soon. We wish her safe journey, lots of fun & great life!

another 'old' boy of the forum, Lews, is going for a vacation in Canada. according to LaFille, the weather there at the moment isn't conducive for vacation, nevertheless wishes him well in his travels. We, the PIFs, are also of the same mind; Lews, have a great, safe, fun, meaningful vacation. ENJOY! & do take some pix!

Well I'm back... Sadly... My family goes up every year, so it wasn't just because of the great season.

I've seen better years. Though it was still very fun, in Whistler/Blackhomb. I only went skiing one day, and then spent a while sleeping and reading books, watching tv, etc. Now to go back to school and the duties that a Lews has to do.

Yes, several good boks infact. Terry Pratchett, George R.R. Martin, Robert Jordan, and Timothy Zahn. Read a lot of books too!

erm Lews try the "Royal Assasin" series by Robin Hobb, maybe a little too serious but excellent reading <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Too serious? Try Tomas Coveant. That's too serious! Never got into it...

A serious recomendation is Tad Williams. Reading Memory, Sorrow and Thorn (or whatever you call it in English), a book about the kitchen boy Simon who is... Well, I don't whant to spoil it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. Definentlly worth reading though. Otherland is supposed to be good too, might read it after this (and the book I have to read in English. I might find Otherland in English...).

My vacations are over but i have still a lot of work for several weeks.
