To be honest, I've only heard rumors of gossip, not acuall gossip. The closest I've been on this is when I got asked by someone (let's call him/her X) to give my oppinion on him/her, since he/she felt a little outside. I said something (he/she had a different mentality when it came to seratin things) and I told X that this was neither positive or negative, just... different. It's a bit like low taxes/high taxes, they both have pros and cons. If you live in a country where you have high taxes and it works, then you tend to like high taxes, same thing if you live in a country with low taxes, and in some strange way have got this to work (of cause this is only a theory, this would never work in real life). ( <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />) Anyway, let's say X liked low taxes for the above mentioned reason, and most pepole around here likes high taxes for the above mentioned reasons, then likeing low taxes isn't wrong, it's just... different. And since you tend to like pepole who resembles you, this might be why he/she felt a bit left out. I allso pointed out that she had other "good qualities", and that their wasn't really anything wrong with him/her (from my point of view, this was a minor minus, even though it wasn't much to react about, really), that I though X should stay, I liked X, I considered X my friend etc.
After a while, someone else (can't remembered who it was, wouldn't mention it if I remembered) said a friend of his/hers had been acused of having unhealthy taxpolitics (this hasn't really has to do with taxes really, I just use it as a symbol), and that it upset him/her. This is the closest of gossiping about anyone I've been. Once again: My intentions are never (allmost, see it as never) to hurt anyone.
