Sure, as long as we do the same for all other lifestyle-related illness, contributed to by the consumption of highly processed foods, refined sugar, excessive alcohol, etc. -- and exacerbated by inadequate physical activity and/or risk-taking behaviour ("elective" sports, etc.).
I used this argument in a thread here a while ago. I still think its perfectly valid.
Kris-no offence is meant of course. I'm just a 'passionate' debater sometimes. (argumentitive git!) Ex-smokers are oddly enough the most impossible people to argue with on this subject.
My main fear is that these people will succeed in totally banning smoking and then move onto something else. Caffeine? Alchohol? The choice is endless...
