Once agian a quest has managed to baffle me beyond belief... I have found my way into the dark forest... wonderful place exotic animals and such, talked to some female elf in their little village... apperently I need to find a way to make the elves and drwafs to avoid war or something... also the dragon gloves are in a pyre? or near them I am lost on finding them as well the guide just said pyre - dragon gloves... very vauge, thats about it for now thank ya in advance

The conflict between the dwarves and elves is solved when you complete the dwarf and elf council member quests, which you will get some time after visiting castle Stormfist.

For the dragon gloves, you need to leave the elven village by the south gate, and check the pyre just south of the first stairs you come to.
