Forget painting, sculpture, dance, literature, and all the other arty-farty stuff – music is the King, Queen, Princess and Prince of the Arts. Music can grab you by the throat in seconds. It can make you cry, dance or pump your fists in the air. And all this after only a few seconds of music have played.
Music can even make grown men do daft things like play ‘air guitar’ with silly expressions on their faces. But did you ever stand in front of the Mona Lisa and burst into a session of ‘air paintbrush’? Did you put down your copy of Lord of The Rings and break into a flurry of ‘air typewriter’?
