As I sai yesterday, I'm against it. And now that I finally have time to answear, I will do so. I am against death sentence because: (I'm Swede...) 1/ The risk of convicting an innocent (did I spell that correctly? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />) is way too big (and it will allways be no matter the size of the risk). 2/ there is no bigger advantages. The only advantage is that you'll get rid of the convict, ie he won't cost the society anymore money. That death sentence would be deterrent would be an argument for but it's been proved wrong.
Conclution, there is basicly no advantages, only disadvantages. That is why I'm against derat sentence (well, not only, there is allso moral aspects, which comes from my raceing, but we'll take that another time (like tom morrow)).
