OK Kyra_Ny, don't worry. Just follow for a while and have another go later if you feel like it.

All remember please (From the post that started this thread.):

Humour would be encouraged and personal attacks frowned upon unless in fun.

After 2 days a winner would be declared, chosen on any basis the judge felt like - funniest, cleverest, most thought provoking, or whatever. The winner would then get to choose the next topic and be the next judge.

The general idea is to enjoy the arguing without getting either too tense or too personal about it. Both kind hearts and thick skins may be required while arguing!

It's kind of intriguing that we managed to discuss subjects like Euthanasia and Abortion without ruffling any feathers, but that Microsoft seems to have caused our first problem.

Anyway, as Kyra_Ny doesn't seem keen to continue with a new topic, and we are aiming for a 48hr turnaround with each topic, I will restart the thread with a new one:

BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS.

Are paper and print books rapidly becoming obsolete? Will the interenet and/or electronic versions kill them off? Do you still buy and read books? If that's not up your alley, then tell us about the ones you love or hate... just so long as it's about BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS...
