Hehe, what sort of argument is that? You go from having a nice 'click on the box' system ala DD to this insane plethora of 200 skills?? (or thereabouts)
Come on. As my old boss says, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Alright, Barta highlighted 'greatest COMPUTER game of all time' which is a good idea. We should think about which has had the most social impact. Or is just the best remembered. Or has changed how the industry produces games. We're talking about ground-breakers here. Not just ones we liked the best. Pity we didn't include video games.

Come on, who hasn't played space invaders? Pong? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Command and Conquer was a great, it set up the whole RTS line.

RPG and adventure games have been around forever though. I even remeber those good old text-based ones on the BBC microcomputer that I could never see the point of... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, I'll stick with my Starcraft. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/kissyou.gif" alt="" />
