60 years ago there was a kind of system that made near an obligation to the bosses to "love" their employees... it was called patronism... and rightly appears today as a very retrograd thing...

so now valors have been inverted... for a somehow obscure reason employees should love or respect bosses... why so? i love what i do but my whole life is not in my job... people with whom i work in a very general way are not necessary my friends... why should they be? and it is even more true for those who are superior in the hierarchy...

isn't that just a new form of patronism... "you have to love your boss because he's the feeding hand"... or something like that!
well sure that's not true in kris'case but actually quite a marginal one...
