Plowking, since you haven't responded, here I go.

I have seen some say that people whose computers get infested with viruses deserve it for not taking adequate precautions.
On the other hand if the internet is a tool for the whole world, that includes people who are not computer savvy. They may even use some of the basic defenses, but wind up getting whomped anyway.

So is it the computer user's own fault? What steps should be taken to make the internet a more "user friendly" place?

The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?
