Public transportations is pretty good in Sweden. I go by bus every day (xept weekends...). Higher taxes on cars/cheaper prices on public transportations would probably help too. And if there's just the car use we whant to go down, then we could give pepole money for fuel. Some experiments have been made where goverment gives money exlicively for fuel. The result was that THESE pepole tended to use their car less, because the money they DIDN'T spend on fuel, they could spend on other things...
