Kiya told me she was going to visit some friends for a few days.
She might be doing that now.

Let's dust off my revivalskills again...

New topic: America!

Here you can throw as much crap at America as you whant (as long as it's motivated) and get rewarded for it!

Or in case you don't agree, you can (try to) defend it.

As said America is the only great power in the world right now, and therefore everybody has oppinions about it (who cares about europe anywhay?). Now you get the chanse to let them out to the world.

Myself, I'm not touching this topic with a thirty-foot stick... (I think...)

Let's not, will you? I don't want to write to every American forummember that they have to stay because some nerd has given their unsalted opinion about a country they didn't even visited in their lives! Let's keep this forum a bit on the light side, with topics everyone can join and no one feels left out.

*laughs* That's told you UB!

This thread has been dead for a while. Maybe we should let it go...

Afraid I agree with keeping the peace this time. Most of the good topics have been argued over anyway.

I think it is possible to find good topics as :

Vacations
Lazy vacations on a beach against educationnal vacations, visiting historical places and museums.

After the death
To be buried in the earth and the dead body being eaten by the worms against to be burnt in a great fire and the body ashes being thrown in the see.

In fact, the problem is that one : people who use to write a lot of posts in this topic like Master Guroth or Kiya are not there.

Don't forget Kris, Barta! What happened to him anywhay?

After death I don't really care what happenes to my body, since I won't use it anymore (I think, what do I know?). So being eaten by worms don't really matter. But being burned is good. You won't take up much space in your afterlife, and it doesn't take up much energy to do it either.

PS Sorry if my first choice of topic was a bit poor, it was only a try though. DS

I'd go for cremation. You know how much useable land is taken up by cemetaries?

Its a lot....

And it helps to protect your home.

I read an article the other day
about a woman who had her dog cremated.
So she went home with the urn, put it on mantelpiece, and left for work.
While she was at work her home got visited by some burglars.
They tought the ashes ware drugs and started sniffing the stuff.
They ware cought at the home of the lady... in a somewhat "cofused" state.

I think that it is a very good thing that dead ones are buried...

it is a very good inspiration for myth builders as religious ones or game developpers...

well DD would have been a boring game if there was not some skelettons to kill...

you see barta... i'm still there

anyway for once i disagree with Womble...

i think it could be a great idea to ressurect... dead... err this thread!!

But i also agree with Master Guroth.
If the ancient Egyptians had used cremation, a lot of acheological treasures would not exist.

I know that you are still there !
But you don't have time to write a lot of posts in the forum.

I guess Kiya will be back some day. I don't worry about her.
She has to "Get a life" from time to time.
About Kris, it's true i forgot him !
I hope that he is well and that he will give some news about him some day.

Oh... Then it's not fun anymore .

Seriouslly, I knew it was true (not something you make up really) but it's still a good one . Maybe there's something about "good one" that indicates that I think it was a joke, but really I meant that story was a good one... Did I make myself clear? I really doubt...

So burial versus cremation is the topic?

That touches religion and personal beliefs, which can be as sensitive, if not more, than politics...

Anyway, not discussing beliefs of how "afterlife" really is, and how we should be prepared for it -

For me personally, I will donate everything (meaning body parts) that is of use to science. Either for transplants or for scientific research, though I would like to see transplantation be given the preference. With the rest - burn it, and make at least a decent fertilizer (though this is illegal in Germany - so I will live (no - be dead) with the drawback of being in an urn (non recyclyble ) in either earth or sea. Both of which would still be - unnatural).

I'm planning on doing the same thing for my body. Since my bloodgroup is A-, I will be very useful in transplants. I have allready made up my will, because my hubbie doesn't want me to do that (donating my organs that is). My cousin did the same thing before he died, and now someone is still walking around with his kidnees, his heart and his stomach. Only his liver got to much damaged to use and his brain also. He had a terrible caraccident. It makes me still a bit sad when I think of him.
I hope I come back as a bird. I believe in life after dead. I really want to be a bird, since I was an elf before and now I am a human hm,hm.., the next thing would be a little bird. I would go everywhere and sing my beautiful song to everyone!!
