I agree that a lot of patches were brought out, a few of those causing other problems and needed to be patched again....

However, I need to point out the difficulty in pre-testing the games before release. These games were tested, fairly extensively too.... the problem comes in when you have to code a game to work on ANY and EVERY hardware combination, not to mention the effect that software has on a game.

The advantage that blizzard and other big companies have over larian, is they have people contracted to them all over the world, who tests their games (on any known hardware they can think of).. BD didnt have that luxury, so any hardware or problems caused by other software installed on the computer could only be found after the game hit the shelves.

Some items in your inventory, is not supposed to be carried over from one act to the next, these objects very often get renamed during the act change. The only times i found the "object ####" in my inventory was when some or another quest item got taken to the next act. I have seen a couple of doors / stuff scattered around with the object names.... but i dont find that to be a major problem, its merely the lack of polish at times.

I dont understand that your game looked spotty.... i am running mine in 1024.... and i find the quality very good.

What settings were you playing on???
