At first, I dound the DKs voice to be a pretty big turn off. I thought it sounded like a cartoon hobgoblin. I was thinking the something like the voice of the Djinn from the movie Wishmaster would be more appropriate for the DK. However, I either got used to the voice or it improved because I didn't mind it later in the game.
Some voices I thought were quite appropriate, like the ghost Edmund in the Prison who sort of whispers in desperation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
