I know what you mean. I started on a 300 Baud Applecat modem on an Apple II, back in those days it was so slow you had to scroll the text as it downloaded. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I always wondered where the whole shouting thing came from, but it's pretty much become the standard meaning of all caps text. I understand where you're coming from, but it is a bit hard on the eyes sometimes. Of course, I'm a bit harder on people, because I used to be a Co-Sysop on a local BBS and I moderated the message boards. At least I've stopped correcting people on their spelling. Heheh...
