Djp:
After a long wait, I am very disappointed that there is still no patch beyond 1.45 for beyond divinity.
Djp, I agree with you that a new patch would be good, why?
1. I'm a quest gamer - and if I can't finish off quests/clear my log due to quest bugs/miss quest XP as I prefer proceeding in a game like this instead of butchering my way through the BF => I'd like this solved. I know this does not prevent me from playing if I like a plot/environment/char build - but it nags a bit at me
2. if I see here that gamers can't proceed in the game because important NPC hop around into inaccessible areas, thus forcing me to reload or work with hex-edit => it annoys me (in one case I had to redo a lot). And yes, this happened twice to me as well - in about 10x I played through the the game. (so, I seem to like it in spite of the bugs)
3. I CAN live with the bugs (e.g. lockpick, arrows, cut scenes, crashes, BF bugs, object bugs, skill book probs) - and I hope no one will say, all are minor - because this is not true IMO. And a lot of bugs HAVE been squashed from 1.00 version on - but not all. Divinity had the last patch about a year (?)after release, BD is since May/June on the market, so I am patient enough, as I wish for a final patch.
But... I would
NOT follow your conclusion for this:
Djp:
You can be assured that I will not be buying another Larian game for at least a few years and until I see that they look after their customers a lot better.
why not?
Well, the first series of patches came out very quickly, so in my belief, the Larians looked after their customers. Therefore I am pretty sure, they will continue to look after them (me). The 1.4er series even added new features for the BF traders, changed the inventory system, which was definitely NO bug patching but listening to their customers (not me in all cases - sniff).
