Since the original maze levels were apparently larger, it may have been decided that that was too much hack and slash for the beginning of the game.
You can never have too much hack and slash. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I figured it must be something they intended to include, but decided to leave out for some reason or another. Thanks for the reply.
