At the moment, I'm playing multiplayer SoU and HotU with a slightly mangled Druid/Shifter build. I don't care how good it is. It's fun! For the first time I can appreciate magic user builds because I have enough players to include fighters that keep the enemies at bay. And when I'm out of magic, I morph and join the melee myself! Alex is playing a Rogue/Shadow Dancer, learning when to switch between levelling each class, without the best ideas on how to develop the character. We're playing on Normal difficulty so we can afford to make mistakes and have fun.

like what i've been saying all along, the shifter is a truly enjoyable class to play. the fun lies in figuring out what items merge with what form, and then what form is appropriate for the situation. it's very rewarding too, not the kind of feeling you get when playing those cookie-cutter builds being played by 11 out of 10 people.

p.s. what do you mean by mangled, handefood? one arm of your shifter is missing, or one leg?
