I've seen in a shop a so-called "Deluxe version" with all add-ons priced almost 40 Euro.

[Remember : The German plural form of "Euro" is "Euro" ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> ]

*sneaks out*

Don't think we didn't see you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />!

Yes?

Another entry for my list I wrote in the thread "Please". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

I simply cannot believe it tht it always seems to me that Europe gets all the problems. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

Please tell me that this is not true ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Maybe I should open a new thread about it : <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> "Europe as second-class in gaming ?" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

The only disadvantage is, that no-one would read it exceopt this Forum here - I mean I'd like many more people outside to get to know how frustrated gamers in Europe sometimes are. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

At least me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

Alrik.

Hey people i want to ask you something, anybody here is playing online?
If yes, let's do like the Diablo2 post. Let's join everybody here to play this game too. Just stabilish what is needed to play without problems, like - what patch will use and what modules or add-ons(CEP - for example).
And we'll need a good server who here has the fastest computer to be the server and the same time a nice connection.

Anybody?

Yup, sneaky little buggers too. I wish I had the patience to play a shitter to its full extent. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

well, i haven't been able to reach those outsider, golem & dragon shapes in hotu. but even then, the epic humanoid shapes are powerful in themselves:

epic drow warrior has: spell resistance 30 & improved evasion (woohoo! spells & AOE spells do not frighten me), cleave, dodge, darkness, weapon is +6 frozen drow blade with slow.

epic lizardfolk whipmaster has: disarm, whirlwind attack, ambidex, weapon finesse, +5 epic shocking whip (2d8 electrical damage) with stun, freedom of movement, damage reduction.

epic kobold commando (those cute little buggers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> ) has: sneak attack 5d6, darkvision, freedom of movement, HIPS, and his +6 sword does massive criticals & poison on hit, on top of acid damage.

well, that's a nice idea. i would love to play with you guys. i'm sure it'll be fun. but i'm from asia, so there's a bit of a problem with the time zone.

anyway, i hope you get to hook up with the other guys from these forums.

right now, the only game i play online is d2:lod. playing it again to see how the synergies would look like. so far, it's great, but hell is much, much harder. the highest lvl char i have is a lvl 72 hammerdin (the cheesiest char in 1.10 lol) on ladder, as i don't have much time to play except on weekends. but my god, he is such a powerful build.

Just cleared the caves full of Goblins Orcs and Bugbears up north from Port Llast, it was great fun, lots of XP, but one thing has me concerned...i could not open 5 or 6 huts right down in the lowest level , why not?? do they come into the game a little later or what? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

As Womble said...

Nope, I'm not teasing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ROFL.gif" alt="" />

I spent several hours myself, the first time I played, just to find that out.

Spick: In general, if the response is 'this door is barred from behind' or somesuch then you have no chance of getting through it.

My take on NWN.

Original Box
----------------
NWN: Original SP Campaign -- Mediocre at best. If I wanted hack-n-slash, I would've bought Diablo.

NWN: Original Multiplayer -- Good.

Conclusion -- good MP, so-so SP.

Expansions
-----------
SOU: Good SP component. More RPGing and less hack-n-slash.

HOTU: Awesome SP component.

Conclusion -- NWN is complete, on the SP & MP components now. NWN series finally has a one good SP component (SOU), a GREAT SP component (HOTU) & a good MP (Original Box).

HotU is actually designed for single-player only. It will not work properly in multiplayer. You can make it work in multiplayer, but it requires a bit of hacking.

We're progressing through chapter 2 and the only problems we've had so far are cut scenes teleporting people to strange places, and plot items being divided between multiple players. If you do play multiplayer, make sure one of you knows how to use the consol commands, just in case.
