I only used Deekin temporarily.
I only used him to identify my stuff and then I dropped him like a hot brick again.
Then I picked him up to bring into chapter two just to leave him in the temple to identify my stuff again.
Then I grabbed him just before the end of chapter two to take into chapter 3 just to identify my stuff again.

Poor Deekin he didn’t get to do much more than that with me.
I did enjoy some of his dialog with Valen.

oh kyra, how could you drop poor deek just like that? he's such a lovable (& killable) char. some of the funniest lines i've ever heard from a crpg were uttered by him. the longer he stays w/ you, the funnier he becomes. "as the intrepid kobold & his companion continue on their journey, the boss didn't seem to notice that deekin recently passed gas."

sacred has its fair share of funny lines, too. if you leave your char idle for some time, he/she will eventually have something amusing to say.
