A little more:
On several occasions while surrounded by a group of baddies all my 16th level Druid had to do was cast a Bombardment Spell and a Fire Storm Spell and basically all baddies were dead.
Anything left over died via a Flame Strike Spell.
Note: I’m playing the game on Normal Mode.
You have to be a little more careful when casting Spells on Hard Core or Insane Mode.
Then your own spells will damage you and all Friendly’s including your Animal Companion if they are caught in the area of the Spells damage.
Also Note: Some creatures are Immune to all Spells.
Then you will need to Shape Change to waste them.
Be sure to Buff Up first in spells Like Stone Skin and such before you Shape Change.
