Womble, actually, having a possibility for acquiring boots of speed, I don't see a reason for multiclassing anymore.
I can get decent AC thanks to high dex + gear like +AC rings and amus.

Still, you'll miss an extra attack per round, sneak attack and if you think your AC is good now, a thief level will improve it even more!
Actually its just the way the official campiagns go in NWN. I find muilticlassed wizards far more hardy simply because of the number of good fighters you come across.
First char: sorc, (ok)
Second: sorc/monk (muahhahahahaa)
