It seemed a relatively mild post to me - by internet standards anyway. Here in Australia many people are also concerned about the Americanisation of our country. But it's worth remembering that exactly the same happened with the overseas spread of English culture, Dutch, Spanish, French, Russian, etc when their influence was spreading.
