I think one thing is a lot of trends begin in America and America is seen a lot overseas. Some people are replicating what happens in America and others reinvent it over here. Americans also replicate things that happen over here. These things are everywhere and it's mostly because we see America, and only the most exciting bits, so frequently through our little picture boxes that we associate all of these traits with America.
I am not a racist person, but I am cautious of people from other races. Stereotypes, while they don't apply to everyone, do have their sources. I will treat them the same as anyone else, but keep my wits about me just incase. I have only met one American in person, and he was a complete [nocando] artist. I know that's not all of you. Sad but true...
