It is possible that after updating the game to v1.45 the UK distributor,
Digital Jesters, also updated the copy protection. That would explain the version number change, though it would have made more sense to call it 1.45B or 1.45-2 or something. Check the publisher's site; they may have something about this on the BD page, or you could email them.
