There are supposed to be separate multi-player and solo campaigns, so you can play the game according to how you want. The whole thing looks to be about maximising player choice.

That is one thing that would definitely attract me to Dragon Age. To be able to
play it through with my friends and then be able to play it through again SP and
have it be different sounds totally awesome. Plus if different characters get
