If your specs are better than mine, I'd even more so definitely recommend you check G2 out -- it should be quite playable at the settings I have them set around, if those sound like okay settings to you.

G2's Bare Minimum Requirements:
Intel P3 700 Mhz, 256 MB RAM, 2.2 GB Free Hard Drive Space, 4x CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, 32 MB Video Card w/ T&L Support, DirectX 9.0 B (on the disc) or higher, Direct X 9.0 B compatible sound card

G2'S Recommend Requirements:
512 MB RAM, 64 MB Video Card

Supported Video Cards, from the ReadMe File:

NVidia -- GeForce 256, GeForce 2 MX, GeForce 2 GO, GeForce 2 GTS, GeForce 2 Ultra, GeForce 2 Pro, Geforce 3, Geforce 4.

ATI -- Radeon (all types): No problems. FSAA may not work on the radeon 9700 (see GOTHIC.INI for details)

MATROX -- Parhelia: no problems

SIS -- Xabre 400: Occasional problems with flickering textures

Kyro II -- Occasional problems with flickering textures, slow
