Mike Hoge from Piranha Bytes made a speech in the public library of Bremen (Germany) about the development of games in general and Gothic III in particular.
That way they unsealed that the game would have various degrees of difficulty and that Gothic III could be finished without joining a guild. Generally the world will consist of three different parts. A desert in the south, the landscape we already know from Gothic II and the norther part.
