I can`t tell it anyway, becouse this will be a big Spoiler of the Storyline.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Edit

Now im Level 18, and i need only 5000 Points for Level 19.
I think i go in the Swamp, and kill some Swampsharks, and then i have a group of Snappers in this old Convent left over.
But i do not think that this will be enough points for Level 20.
The only other living Creatures was still exist, are all Humans (Without Mud, and Herek <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> ), and the Orcs in the Orctown.
Every other Creatur is dead. I solved the Chromanin Quest, with killing all of the Skelletons.
I can handle threee of them in one Time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />.
The only Problem i have are the Food and Potions.
I used so many, that i do not know did i have enough for later. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

Tsel, the black Goblins ... I walk under them and they all have do die by my Hammer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />
This is was i call a cunning Plan. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Hi all! Just wanted to post two comments for the benefit of the first time Gothic players here. To my knowledge the In Extremo concert is not in the international version, because of some licensing problem for the international market. However, it is possible to insert the concert via the console. Just make sure that you are in Chapter 2, which is when it appears in the German version.

Quote
by Bane on the RPGDOT forum

okay i'll do this once

I'll assume you people know how to use the marvin cheat to insert crap.

this is taken from ariakas's list of npcs

INEXTREMO Characters

InExtremo_DrPymonte
InExtremo_TheFlail
InExtremo_ThomasTheForger
InExtremo_Unicorn
InExtremo_YellowPfeiffer
InExtremo_Lutter
InExtremo_Flex
IE_397_Announcer
Charlotte
IEFan1
IEFan2
IEFAN3
IEFan4

be sure to add the announcer last, and add all the others some place else then go back to the old camp and see them on stage then add the announcer

Link to the only thread I have bookmarked regarding this. Don't bother with any of the links on the next page there, since they seem to be either dead or corrupted. From memory it is also best to insert the band when you are well away from the old camp. Then, when you enter it, the concert starts as normal. They are simply inserted at their scripted location after you leave them. Somebody also mentioned that it's necessary to sleep a night, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Have a fiddle yourself and see what works.

Point 2 is JemyM's FAQ, which is really a walkthrough with an FAQ chapter. If you're struggling with any game technicalities or are completely stuck in the storyline, here is where you'll find the answers.

Hello Mud, and welcome to the Forum <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
Thank you for your Post. I do not know that In Extremo is not in the international Version.
And i can only say, to all of the Players, insert this NPCs, it is worth.
<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
To do this, open your Statistictsscreen, normaly with the B Key. Then type marvin and close the Stat. screen.
(So you have to type bmarvinb )
A Message , Marvin Mode on, in the left upper Screen Corner will appear.
Then press F2, and a Console will in the upper Part of the Screen appear, now can you give in the Insert Codes.
The Console will automaticly complete you words.
So, for Insert, you need only to type i and maybe n.
And this is the Syntax for Insert Dr Pyrmonte.
insert InExtremo_DrPymonte
Then Push return and he will appear.

To Leave the Console just press esc

Well, I started a whole new character from scratch in G1 on Friday.
I got him up to level 8.
I wanted to do some things different that is why I did that.
I cleared out the whole Black Goblin cave. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
I also found out that those Biters can jump real far! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
Luckily I defeated it while it was in mid air. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Tsel, in the near of this old Convent (where the two rivers come together) are some Snappers. If you came from the other Side (where is the Wood, and the Brigde to the Convent) decoy the Snappers. And then watch them.
They are really good swimmers, fast, and moving very elegant.
One Time i managed it to decoy an Orc to the See nearby of the New Camp.
And the Orcs can swim to.
And beware, they can walk much deeper in the Water then your Hero, and so they can Hit you, if you think they cannot reach you.

So, my test which Level i can reach without to be a Member in a Camp is over.
I reached Level 19, and i think if i go to that Orctown i can reach Level 20.
But, now in Game ... everything is much to easy, and the most Enemys are not respawned.
Only three Harpies, one Bridgegolem and the normal Animals which will respawned anyway.
And, i can say it is an error to go in the old Convent.
Later in the Game there are some triggered Actions in one Quest working not correct.
Not a break in the Storyline, or lost Exp, but i create a little Bug.
But after this Quest is solved, everything is allright again.

oh, and try the Bloodfly spell. If your are changing in a Bloodfly, fly to the Ocean and just fly into the Water. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Well, my G2 "Night of the Raven" expansion came in yesterday; so I installed it and played it for a little bit, until I got into the city of Khorinis.

Along the way I activated some portal that caused a slight earthquake, but I have absolutely no idea what it did.
You have to use the forward view mode a whole lot in G2 or you'll miss things.
They got real sneaky in G2 and they hid a lot of good stuff, you as the player, just have to find it.

I guess the game gets harder further into it; because so far I am finding G2 to be a lot easier to play than G1 or maybe it is my play style that makes it seem easier.

The German to English community patch works perfectly.
All German spoken language that involves the "Night of the Raven" expansion is displayed in English text so far; however, the in game movies that are from the expansion are still totally in German and no English text is displayed, but that only adds to the mystic atmosphere of the game to me.

I would advise anyone who plays the English version of G2 to get the "Night of the Raven" expansion; because it adds a whole lot to the game. The only reason why I know that is because of all of the German spoken language to English text that I have read so far in the game. It is quite vast and I like it.

That little Stonehenge, wich you have "Activated" is not a Portal.
It`s a Part of a Quest, wich you need later. Using the three Buttons, can (later in the Quest) make a little Bug.
I wont tell to much, so i think it is the best to start a new Game, and not make an Earthquake. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In the Options, can you find the posibility to regulate the distanz of showing the Items.
If your Computer is fast enough you can take the highest setting.
There is also the possibility to set the visual range, the Wether and the Details.
I have an Pentium 4 with 2,56 GH, a Radeon 9800 SE All in wonder, and 1 GB Ram.
And i can still get the highest settings without any Problems. Only in the City of Khorinis, there is still a flicker in the Picture.

And yes, the Gameinterface is a little bit easier, i see it allways if i play G1 after i play a while G2.
Only to use the Ctrl Key without the Arrow Key sounds not really easyer, but it is so.

I have everything set to the highest setting.
My Athlon Processor and NVIDIA video card
hasn't had any problems pushing G2.
I have the sight set for 300, the furthest setting,
and all of the effects are on.

I do miss the right click mouse standard G1 jump
controls. Now I am forced to use that blasted alt key.

It's the trees that hide stuff when they are next to
hills and such. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I have found it is easier to see things if you go
into the forward view mode when you are between
trees and hills.

No, don't say there is a bug! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />
And I've already done so well!
I found a lot of good stuff and if it is random
I don't want junk stuff after that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

In G2 is everything fixed. There is no Random. The same like G1.
The only thing wich is not fixed is the Inventory of Goblins, and Orcs.
But Goblins have not much, most some Goldcoins or a weak Weapon. And i do not think you have kill the Orc <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
Which is every time is the same are the Weapons you found by an Enemy.
And its only a little Bug, you can live with.
Oh, and i found it better that some Trees hide the stuff <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> so you will look more around.

Tsel,

The narrative of the additional cut scene at the beginning should be displayed after the whole sequence ends. I don't remember how, but I guess Xardas simply says it to you via subtitles.

I totally agree that the addon adds lots to the game. Apart from the obvious additions, it also alters the feeling and atmosphere of the game to be closer to G1. Oh and if you missed ladders in G2 then you will be delighted to hear that there are some in the addon world. Two to be precise. Isn't life great?

The addon is a little harder than G2 classic. This was probably mentioned already. If you can't cope at all, then try the difficulty changer (thread) that aldee_ made especially for this eventuality.

I played a little more of G2+NotR

Man, I was doing a lot of running! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

It is funny how in G1 wolves practically rip you to pieces and
the regular wolves in G2 are among the few creatures you can
take out pretty easily.

First I ran up a hill to the Lighthouse only to find myself
having to run away from some real powerful Bandits! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
I ran further up the hill behind the Lighthouse to find myself
face to face with a Shadowbeast! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
I ran back down the hill and looked behind me to find
the Shadowbeast eating one of the Bandits; <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ROFL.gif" alt="" />
I guess the other one ran inside the Lighthouse.
So I decided to go the other road from the city only to find myself
being chased out of a cave with an Orc right on my heels! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

I think I have found where G2 starts to get harder than G1. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
I am still alive and I find the story of G2+NotR to be very intriguing.
It is difficult right now, but I can see further on
that when I pass a certain level, the game will get much, much easier. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Hi, Tsel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
The only way in G2 The Night of the Raven (TNotR) to climb up is to search the easy Monsters like the Wolves, and Scavenger, or the huge Bugs which will called "Feldräuber" in the Germanversion.
Find out what the wild Pigs will do with you, if they get you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> They are, in the beginning very strong and fast Enemys.
And something is different to G2 without Addon.
In G2 is (at the beginning) the Strengh the most important abillity. In G2 TNotR it is dexterie. You can need it for stealing, Bows and there are Weapons called Degen. They make good Damage, there is one, which have an Damage of 100 and need only 60 of Dextery. All other Weapon in this Damageclass need 100 or more strengh to use them.

But there is a clue to earn 500 Exp in the beginning without cheating or so.
It is a reward wich you will earned if you reach Lares (in the Harbor) without walking through the Citydoors.
There are two different Ways to do this, importend by this is to leave the Town without using the Citydoors too.
This can you do behind the Milizhouse.
An other good thing is to speak with Wulgar directly if he came out of the Milizhouse (in the morning betwen 5 and 6 Clock). The fact that you came so early to trainee enjoy him, and you will earn 2% of your Weaponskill as a reward.

The tactics I have been using is climbing up high,
like you just suggested,
and looking ahead as much as I can. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I can take out the Blood Flies, Wolves, Regular Goblins, Scavengers,
Mole Rats, Giant Rats, the easy Bandits, and those big Bugs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I have been using the simple Wolfs Knife that Cavalorn gave me
at the beginning of the game this whole time.
So far it has been working for me just fine.
I realize the G2 game booklet says only experienced Gothic players
should try playing a Mage, but they said that in G1 also
and I am doing just fine as a Mage there.
I think I will be okay. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

The Statue of Innos gants me some good stat increases
and the statue of Bailar or whatever that statues name is
gave me 500 gold. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

"The Dagon's Lair" reports that Big Ben Interactive is planning to release the French version of the Gothic II add-on on June 17.

However, only the subtitles will be in French, the audio is English. So this release may also be interesting for English-speaking Gothic fans.

Well, I got back into my G1 game.
I have two characters that I am playing simultaneously in G1.
I like my second, lower level character better.
The reason why I am doing this is because I bought my G1 game used
and I only got the two original CD's, but I did not get any game manual,
so everything I have been doing in the game has all been trial and error.
That is why I like my second character better; because, my first character
has mainly been a learning experience to figure out how G1 works.

Last night I killed myself 3 Fire Lizards.
Wow! 500 XP each!
I left two of them alive.
I really like G1 & G2.
I look at my characters as Hunters out on a hunt. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I have lots and I mean lots of Ore.
I credit all the ore I have due to the 4 hunter skills I bought
and the lock pick skill.

Question:
Why would I even bother buying those Circle Books and
those colored slips of paper in G1?
All they tell you is information, but they do not give you anything.

You buy them? Why did you do that? They will give you nothing. The only Books you will need to get some really importand Information you will become without paying for it.
So, i think it is better these Books not to buy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> (In the second Game normally nobody buy these Books again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> )

Oh no, I did not buy those books.
Well I did, but I saved before I bought them.
So, I bought them, read them, and then reloaded
to get my ore back. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />

I finally joined a camp in G1.
I decided to join the Old Camp.
I am 11th level now and I finally decided
to go to the second bridge area past the
Black Goblin Bridge as traveling
from the Old Camp to the Sect Camp.
I am the mighty Lizard hunter now
as 8 Lizards lie dead beneath my feet
from the tree stump I was standing on. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Hello all you G2 fans <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />
I finaly got around to installing and starting to play G2 after 5 months of owning the game.
I have had a look around the Tower and have now ventured out into the wilderness.
Any useful tips for this novice? I ran into some Goblins in a tunnel near the lake and got slaughtered and so headed off to bed with my head in me hands, is it always going to be that hard ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

Yes, it is that hard spick,
BUT never fear Stone is here
and he will hook you up
on the best way to progress into the game.

The main thing is to get a feel for those keyboard commands.
Once you do that things get easier to plan and attack.
